Saris’ Bike Porter Trunk 2-Bike rack is outfitted with adjustable features to fit a vast variety of vehicles. Constructed of sturdy, durable steel, the rack’s frame has 15 different easy-to-adjust positions. It’s held in place by foam-padded legs and four straps, each with a smartly coated hook to protect your car’s finish. The bikes are held down with ratcheting, anti-sway straps and rest in protective, grooved rubber cradles, which allow the shift cables to slot down underneath and away from the top tube.

Comments:
We bought this a year ago after owning a Saris hitch carrier. We have had the hitch carrier all over the US. Our new Camry hybrid does not have a hitch. Love them both. They will not disappoint. Great bike carriers.
Comments:
I like this rack because it is basic, easy to install and remove and I can open my trunk with the rack in place. If I am transporting my bike on a longer trip, I have another rack which takes longer to install but provides better stability on long highway drives. But this rack is my preference for anything local. I have had 2 adult bikes plus 2 children's bikes mounted with no problems.
Comments:
I have had this bike rack for about awhile now. It is a very easy rack to put on the car. It is very sturdy and will not harm your bike.

After 12 years useing a Graber rack and have an excellent service on damaged parts from Saris, I decided to purchase a new rack and this was the Bike Porter Trunk 2-bikes Transport Rack because I know will have same excellent service, durability and quality from this new one.

I've have this bike rack for over a year now and couldn't be happier with it. Very easy to put on and take off the car. Looking forward driving with it to South Dakota this summer for some biking in the Black Hills.
Comments:
It is not damaged my car. Very light and easy to install.
Comments:
Easy to mount. Can raise hatchback without removing it. Good product. Great price.

Let me say first that it's a solid, well-made, quality product. The only thing I want to point out is that when I drive at highway speeds, I noticed the bike and rack swaying up, down and sideways as I went over rough spots. My friend was driving in front of me, and his rack was rock-solid. I didn't see his bike move at all, no matter what the road conditions were. He has a Yakima, and the difference between mine and his is, mine has one padded stability cushion (the "lower foot pad") resting on the fender, whereas his Yakima has one resting on the fender and one on the trunk. The "upper foot pad" on mine seems to be undersized. It should have been a wide, thickly padded support like the lower foot pad, not just an arm resting on the trunk. By the way, I had the straps cinched as tightly as possible. I was pretty anxious driving at 60-65 mph. and looking in the mirror and seeing the rack and bike bouncing along. Maybe I'm not used to it yet, and need to make adjustments. Overall it is a very well engineered product.
Comments:
I purchased 1 month a go for a Lincoln MKZ. Fits well and sturdy. After 1-2 set-ups, now easy to take on/off. Based on short mileage trips, would assume could withstand longer trips as well. There is extra length on the straps and I purchased cheap velcro straps to bundle the extra so they are not dangling. Very good value for the money.
Comments:
Selected this since I am only an occasional cyclist. Not very easy to install, and didn't work well on my vehicle since the trunk edges are all curved. Ended up with deep scratches all around my car because the brackets are metal. Took it off and will return. (And buy touch up paint. Ugh.)
