Purchased June 2015 Very comfortable ride. I use is for short errands, to the store and back.ride I purchased rear bike rack and bags, it make shopping easy. I live on the South shore of long island and ride the bike ride to the beach. It's a great way to keep in shape, and enjoy the fresh air. Don't let the bike shop talk you into all the gears. Keep it simple! The simple one speed is the way to go! I plan on buying another to leave at my place in Florida; to enjoy the riding all year long.

Just got my '13 Simple Single black/black cruiser and i am totally impressed. It is ridiculously lightweight for such a thick, solidly constructed bicycle. the lines and sleek graphics remind me of the batmobile. This is my first Giant bicycle, though i have wanted one for years. The way the bike is constructed it will probably be my last. What I paid for the bicycle seemed crazy even to me, but after riding it for the first time it was easily worth the investment.

If you plan on just casually riding around then this bike is the bike for you. Very smooth and just a pleasure to ride. The gears make a world of difference. The 26 inch wheels coupled with fat tires make for a smooth ride. I use it to ride around the neighborhood with my kids and it's perfect. This cruiser bike is just that.....if you plan on just " cruising" around,invest in this bike. I don't regret it at all. Very pleased.

I've had this bicycle for almost 6 months now and can safely say that I'm sorry that I didn't purchase a similar (but better) Electra Coaster model. This bike had to be adjusted three times to eliminate the slippage of it's chain, the ride is still inferior to my friends $120 [...]-bought Schwinn. Giant might make some good bikes at higher price points but not in the Simple Single.

Rented these bikes last summer on Dauphin Island. This is a great flat surface cruiser. We had lots of nice casual rides on them. The aluminum frame coaster version is surprisingly light and may hold up better in the salt air. We are purchasing for our get away house down there so we will see.
